Our Story

Our Story

How  it  all  started...

Clear Creek Community Church was formed in 1994 as a community of believers who wanted to impact the East County for Jesus. Early in 2012, after meeting in several different facilities, Clear Creek merged with Highland Community Church and is now Clear Creek Church.  We are committed to following the biblical model of being led by multiple Elders.

Clear Creek has always been a family church, desiring to help people of all ages and backgrounds know Jesus and experience a close, personal, dynamic relationship with Him.

We accomplish this through vibrant worship of God, promoting individual spiritual growth and maturity through the consistent teaching and application of His Word to our daily lives, and communicating the love of Jesus to others.

Expanding  the  vision...

Since we began, we have always had a passion to have a positive impact on the lives of those around us, whether down the street or around the world.

One way we accomplished this was providing food and coffee every Friday night  for seven years, on the corner of 162nd and Burnside.

We helped birth Compassion Connect, an international ministry that provides medical and spiritual support to those in need as well as assists young women to escape the world of human trafficking.   Also, we support several missionaries and participate in short-term mission trips.

Currently we have multiple annual local outreach events including an Easter Egg Hunt, Community Festival, Vacation Bible School, Harvest Celebration, and more, which reach several hundred in our community.

Where  we  are  headed...

As a church family, we are committed to continue impacting our world for the Lord, both locally and globally, striving to always be relevant to the culture in which we live without compromising the truths of the Word of God.
