May 1st - 7th
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” Matthew 6:10
(Kingdom - The rule and reign of God.)
What does a life surrendered to the rule and reign of God look like?
This second week of prayer is centered on surrendering to and praying for the rule of God in your life.
For each day, you are invited to sit with a different parable describing the Kingdom of God.
Spend some time in silence, and then:
1.Respond by giving thanks.
2.Ask God to reveal how you are experiencing this aspect of His Kingdom in your daily life.
3.Ask Him to reveal any obstacles that may be keeping you from experiencing this aspect of His Kingdom. Be willing to surrender.
4.After giving thanks, ask Him how He is inviting you to respond to this parable.
Spend some time listening to His response and journal your experience.
The prompts for this week are based on the Kingdom Parables of Jesus in Matthew 13 and 25.
